The food we eat releases chemicals to the brain which affects our mood and how we feel. Eating a balanced diet will improve your overall health from heart, prevent infections, and improves your mental health. Make sure you eat the right food with the right fats such as olive oil. An example of a healthy diet is a Mediterranean diet which is mostly plant-based with lots of herbs that can reduce depression. Stay dehydrated is also important as it is difficult to concentrate or think without even water and fluids in your body.

2-        Learn a new skill

Start a new hobby or craft or even learn to play a musical instrument. This will improve your brain function and will keep your mind and body connected and active. Also, you will get to meet new people if you are taking a new class which will improve your social skills and reduce your anxiety. In addition to developing a growth mindset and believing that you can learn anything and achieve your goals. You will also feel empowered by the new knowledge, and you become more exciting. Excessive use of electronics will cause sleep disorders as the blue light of the device tricks the brain that it is daylight subsequently will make you alert and unable to sleep. Such distribution in your sleep will cause a change in your mood, behaviour and you won’t be able to focus. Set a time for your electronic devices. Try and don’t use your devices first thing when you wake up in the morning. Try reading or exercising instead and that way you are protecting your brain and energy. Then, try not using your devices an hour before bedtime and that you will give your brain the rest it needs, and you will be able to have a good night sleep.
